Jerry White
Jerry is working with local sportsmen, businesses, farmers, community leaders to develop and promote a landscape plan for the 30,000 acres of riparian habitat, 140 miles of river and wild salmon and steelhead fisheries that would be restored with the removal of the four lower Snake River dams in eastern Washington.

The Wyss Scholars program is open to Masters students currently enrolled at one of the four host universities. If you are considering applying to one of the four schools and would like to learn more about the program, go to Schools.
Wyss Scholars are selected after successfully completing their first semester of study. Students are asked to submit an application describing their interests and career plans. Finalists are then interviewed by a selection committee, made up of professors, administrators, and a Wyss Foundation representative.
Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership potential, and demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in land conservation in the western United States. Financial need may also be considered.
For deadlines and an application please contact your campus’s coordinator.
