Brendan Botosan
public lands program manager, conserve southwest utah
Brendan serves as the Public Lands Program Manager at Conserve Southwest Utah, an organization that protects Washington County’s intricate desert ecosystem by addressing a wide range of conservation issues. Brendan is a long-time Utah resident and recent graduate of Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy. His work focuses on protecting public lands through community-based conservation, practical policy, and collaboration with partners. While at Duke, he developed a conservation strategy for Utah’s Great Salt Lake that links habitat restoration to economic and community outcomes. Brendan believes conservation, economics, and equity must advance together and is committed to applying that approach in Southern Utah.
