Christian Fauser
public lands coordinator, arizona wildlife federation
Christian serves as the Public Lands Coordinator for the Arizona Wildlife Federation, an organization dedicated to conserving Arizona's wildlife, wild places, and public lands. Christian earned his bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Montana and a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Northern Arizona University. Christian has played a significant role in several advocacy and organizing efforts in Arizona focused on public lands and water protection. His passion is educating hunters and anglers about the importance of protecting Arizona’s wild places and wildlife, and building an effective new generation of public land advocates. As a Wyss Fellow, he works to defend public lands from sale or transfer, advocates for public lands funding, wildlife connectivity and crossings, encourages conservation-smart energy development and transmission, and increases awareness of the importance of riparian protection and restoration in Arizona.
