Frances Atmore
University of Michigan - School of Environment and Sustainability
Franny Atmore is a proud Midwesterner. She grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota, spent every summer living and working on Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin, completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Anthropology at Grinnell College in rural Iowa, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science at the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability in the Environmental Policy and Planning track. She feels deeply connected to the people and ecosystems of the Upper Midwest, and spent the last six years sharing that passion as an outdoor recreation leader and environmental educator.
