Gabriela Eseverri

University of Montana - Environmental Studies Program, College of Forestry and Conservation

Gabriela Eseverri is an environmental writer at the University of Montana. She grew up in South Florida and feels most at home when listening to the squawking of parrots overhead. She loves exploring the ecological, cultural, and historical ecosystems that shape a place. Migrating west, Gabriela joined Glacier National Park’s podcast team to produce five seasons of Headwaters, a show about how the park is connected to everything else. Through her work with the National Park Service, Gabriela has come to revere public lands as places that honor our history and guide our collective future. Her writing is currently focused on stories of invasive species, immigration, and belonging.
