Forbes Magazine this week announced that philanthropist Hansjörg Wyss is #8 on its list of individuals in the United States who gave the most to charity in 2014.  The Forbes analysis, conducted in partnership with the Philanthropic Research Institute, found that the top 10 most generous philanthropists in the U.S. in 2014 gave a total of $7.1 billion to charitable causes.
