Jessie Williams

Jessie Williams is a dual-degree Juris Doctor and Master of Urban and Regional Planning student at the University of Michigan. Jessie received her environmental studies and communication and media degree from the University of Michigan. She is an associate editor of the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law and a board member of the Urban Planning Student Association. Jessie will focus on land preservation, farmland conservation, and zoning law to preserve the agricultural and forest land of her home in northern Michigan. Jessie plans to return to the Traverse City area after graduation to practice land use and preservation law. Jessie is interested in municipal work, specifically, the measures local governments can take to support preservation and conservation goals.
