Mariah Bowman

University of colorado - law

Mariah Bowman is a University of Colorado Law School student pursuing her interest in the intersection of public lands, climate action, and advocacy. Mariah's urgency to help address climate change stems partly from the rapid and frightening changes she has observed in the public lands she loves. Mariah has worked with the Natural Resources Clinic at Colorado Law and is a member of the Environmental Law Society and the University of Colorado's Environmental Board. Before law school, she worked in state politics. This experience informed her belief in the power of democratic institutions to make change and deepened her commitment to protecting public lands.
